My dear friend Lisa Elliott passed away on Saturday from her
long battle with cancer, two days
before her birthday. She was a great friend, talented designer,
and visionary. I've known Lisa nearly half of my life. It's hard
to imagine not being able to see her again. Below is a photo from
her shop on Melrose, called Neo 80. I worked there for many
years in the late 80's/early 90's. I learned a lot about business, fashion,
and friendship working there. Klaus and Lisa were like family to me.
I will never forget the wonderful times, and will
miss Lisa, and think of her everyday. Love you Lisa!!!!!!!!

Laurel, I am so sorry to hear of your friend Lisa's passing.I remember when you worked there and it sure made an impact on your style. Knowing you, I am sure she was as inspired by you as you were by her.
